Exclamation User Account Files Deleted - HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys,

I'm new here but I need some help. My computer has Windows XP Pro and Has about 4 user Accounts on it. Now all the user accounts still exist but the files from my particular user account are gone. Desktop, Icons, My Documents, My Pictures. Those files are gone and I am unable to get them back as of right now, but the user name remains.

Also it reverted back to my old user account Icon. I'm nto sure how it is able to get the icon because the file isnt present in my user account anymore, which leads me to believe that the files are here somewhere but I cant see them.

On other user accounts, I can see the files in my documents, but when I log on to my name everything is gone.

Also, when my user account loads the first thing that comes up is the command prompt. The windows explorer process doesnt have a chance to load. What I did was closed the prompt and loaded the explorer process from the windows folder, but still, something is very wrong here. I would appreciate any help from you guys, thanks.

Exclamation

I dont think this is the problem I am having. Well in a way it is but in a way it isn't

After looking though my documents and settings in windows explore, I realized something. I have more user account folders than I should.

There should be

Jim
Jane
Jack
Jenny

But I have

Jim
Jim.House
Jane
Jane.House
Jack
Jenny

The name of the computer would be house.

I looked int the Jim folder and it has all my stuff in it, but windows doesnt load that one, it loads the jim.house. This is something that should not be, it didnt do this until yesterday. For some reason, it created a new account binded to the computer and now it loads that one instead of the original. I need to figure out how to undo this because it is happening on two accound on the computer. I'm nto sure what the cause is, but no viruses or malwares or trojans come up when i scan with adaware and mcafee.

Any ideas?

Just use the previously posted link to move files to new accounts.
If you'll be trying to "undo" whatever happened for too long, you may end up losing all your information.

Question

What if this happens again, there has to be a better solution to the problem.
