It sayz there was a problem installing this hardware:
Multimedia Audio Controller

An error occured during the installation of the device:

The driver installation file for this device is missing a
necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written
for windows 95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor.

I dont know wat else to do!! just gonna use it without sound.

Check this out to see if Soundmax is default audio
Go to Control Panel / Sound & Audio Devices / Audio tab / Sound Playback – click on down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be something “modem line 0 playback” has been substituted for the correct audio device.

Try Win Updates, Custom - see if a driver is offered

I think maybe I should give up on having sound...

It didn't work...it says, "error: Cann't find Match Realtek HDAudio Inf File!" (I kid you not there were two 'n's in can't...)

Then immediately after clicking OK it gave me a box that said, "Warning: Realtek HD Audio driver Setup Failure !"

Just looked again at Acer, it's a different version of Realtek, listed under the 4070 model, bit for the 4060 as well, here it is http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...rds=&areaid=12
