"Dell Solution Center" stuck on my start menu =[

I installed XP on my second comp through a DELL cd. It put a "dell solution center" link RIGHT ON MY START MENU. i Cannot get it off. When i rightclick, it says "Welcoem to Dell." i dont know what to do. I dont know where to delete it in the registry. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

You could go to C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu and delete it there. Hope this helps.

Here is how you remove links such as the Dell Solution Center and other OEM links from your start menu:

1. Right-click the Start Menu and choose Properties
2. Click Start Menu tab, 'Customize', 'Advanced' tab
3. In the 'Start Menu items' list, uncheck Manufacturer Link option
4. Click OK, and OK.
