Try this:
1. Uninstall the drivers (from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel) and then restart.
2. Then go into Device Manager (Control Panel > System, in the Hardware tab) and uninstall the devices that you can under the collapsible header Sound, Video and Game Controllers (obviously, don't uninstall any game pads if you have one).
3. And then reboot, cancel the Found New Hardware Wizard and then install the drivers.
4. After this restart again and let me know if it worked

What exactly caused the sound to disappear? Did you install something?
And you shouldn't have had to uninstall the video drivers (and shouldn't be able to).

Try this driver, from the MSI website, as it might be updated.

Exclamation Help,No sound,Ahhhhhh help please

I have no sound on my computer and i notice most people have the same exact problem. It's really hard to explain what going on with my sound because i'm not good with computers. But I really need my sound back,My music is on my computer, ill go crazy without it.But enough of the dramatic life story with me and my computer.I really need HELP so help me please.

On device manager the PCI input device have an yellow exclamation sign on it.I try to update it.And it says that The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28).And to reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver. And when I did that it say's that wizard can't find the nessary software.

I did try downloading a different PCI device and then it had a Exclamation sign on it also.

But all my devices under Sound, video and controllers say's that all the device are working. But sometimes I get a message saying I have no audio device. But the audio device under Sound, video and controllers say's it's working fine.

And under system device the system speaker says no drivers are installed for this device. Then I try updating the System speaker, then it say the wizard could not find a better match for your hardware than your software you currently have installed.

Help me please I'll take any solution you guys have.

Audio Driver. As you know Dell allows you to specify some parts of your system, so if you have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Digital you'll need this driver.
