I have a stock Gateway GT4015H with an nVidia GeForce 6100 graphics card.

.exe or a setup file =

Running around a page for 10-15 minutes =

These are drivers from Gateway http://support.gateway.com/support/d...=pn&param=6140
important - install the Motherboard Package first

and this is he nVidia driver http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for that, I'm kind of impaired when it comes to certain things... drivers being one of them...

I'll see how that works and if I run into any problems I'll know where to come first

Same Problem as everyone else

Hi, I have the same problem as everyone else but have no idea how to fix it. I have a viewsonic Monitor and when you scroll down the page the page rolls to catch up. When moving a page from grabbing the top of a page it rolls to where to put it.

This is the pc specs. If you could help out that would be great.
Thanks very Much
Taleen

You most likly have a graphic card installed Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section

Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right click mouse - select Copy.
it should show which card you have

All I need to know right now is what a SM Bus Controller, and PCI Bridge device would be, in terms of hardware. Thanks in advance!

Video Control (VGA Compatible)

I'm also missing a driver. Got the PC from a friend, no discs came with it. Had to format when it froze while updating manually to SP2 [also froze while installing SP2 via Automatic Updates, I still don't know why] Now, Windows Media Player says I have no sound device, under 'Device Manager' there's a yellow question mark next to the 'Video Controller (VGA Compatible). When I had Internet, my PC still couldn't find the driver. I installed both the graphic and audio driver from the HP web site manually (HP PC is in my room now with no Internet, I'm using the family PC to post this) and no such change.

I'm also not that computer savvy when it comes to the internal workings!

I have an HP 514n, Windows XP Home SP1.

Specs from the link posted several pages ago (Belarc I believe?):
