Please Help! Trying to Acccess Files

I am running Windows XP Home Edition 2002 Service Pack 2. I have a slave hard drive with old password protected files in my Documents and Settings folder. I have read other posts where people have the same problem and I have tried all of those remedies.

When I right click the folder there is no security tab. In Indexing stop is enabled. In my folder options there is No simple file sharing option for me to check or uncheck. I have searched all over to figure out how to resolve this. I really need help to retrive important files and I am offering a reward of $25 via Paypal to the first person to help me resolve this issue. Thank You.

For XP home, you can't disable Simple File Sharing. Aslo, you need to boot into safe mode and login as Administrator to see the security tab.
