add/remove software problems

Hi

A while back I removed a game from my system, but in the add/ remove software there's still a small part in the list. If I try to remove it, the setup starts and that's it. It terminates the program. I tried to reinstall the game to be able to delete again, but no luck. Same setup. Same end. I then remove all files that where related to the game ans I could find, but still no luck.

Why is the setup still running when I try to delete? Does that mean there's is still software on the system? Where can I find that last piece of software?

Does anybody know?

Go to Start-->Run-->type: "regedit" (without the quotes)-->navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Uninstall

From there you'll fing the "Add/Remove Programs" entry for this software. Open it's key an find out where it's executable is stored, delete that, then delete it's registry.

Backup the registry first, blah blah blah.
