Need Help

hey i need some help i got my sound back and stuff but when i go to device manger it has yellow question marks over SM Bus Controller and Video Controller (VGA Compatible) and when i try to update them i get this message The Hardware Was Not Installed Because The Wizard Cannot Find The Necessary Software

oh and another thing when i open my internet exploper to full screen it and move the page up or down it looks like it skips frames which it use to never do does anybody know how to fix these problems

Assuming you have video built in to the motherboard, just go to that manufacturer and download the available drivers. Windows Update may not offer the most current drivers for your board; there's money issues involved for them.

I haven't owned a Compaq in quite some time, but if it's anything like Dell, you should have gotten a driver disk with the computer (assuming you're the original owner).

Update the manufacturer drivers and Windows Update before you worry about the IE issue, that may correct it.
