Unrecognized members in admin account

Hi, I was looking around at user profiles in windows xp, and I noticed three users in the admin account catagory that I didn't recognize.
S-1-5-21-1965730717-1486910-2027319071-21903
S-1-5-21-1965730717-1486910-2027319071-4150
S-1-5-21-1965730717-1486910-2027319071-512
I looked around and found out these seem to be SID values. What is a SID value used for, and should it be in the admin account?

Personally, I wouldn't bother with older profile if I don't have anything important in that profile I would just delete it.
