Random errors...

Hi,
I've been having lots of problems with my computer lately, I had to run an fdisk and reinstall windows, the fdisk didn't show anything wrong with my hard drive, though, which makes me think it is the software and not the computer itself that is the problem.
Now, things seem to be *mostly* working ok, but I have gotten several random error messages. Once, Messenger didn't work, I restarted and have had no problems. Another time, Adobe Acrobat didn't work, also restarted with no problems. Now, Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to shut down (as soon as I open it). I have ZoneAlarm firewall, McAfee Enterprise virus scanner, and have used AdAware and the free Panda scan, and the darned thing just refuses to work properly.

If anyone has had similar experiences or knows how to help, please let me know!!! I am going crazy with this.

Strip Msconfig in safe mode.

Get rid of any none important boxes, keep in your anti virus and your internet items, click on OK and restart when prompted.

This should correct this issue, if not:

Msconfig - Services - (Hide Ms services) Disable the rest, and again, enable any Anti virus items,. OK and restart when prompted again.
