Uninstalling Nero problem

I am trying to uninstall a demo version of Nero 7 which I downloaded from the net. But every time it's uninstalling, a message comes up saying "Shellmanager database is corrupt or missing" then it stops uninstalling. I have tried re-installing it but the same thing happens. I also tried the "Repair" option but same thing.

What do I need to do? I wanna get rid of this program badly.

Hi ... Try to boot your pc into safe mode and then give the add and remove programs area a try , If that still doesn't do it , If you are familar with the registry ? Then you can delete it from there but, if you don't want to mess with the registry ? You can go to nero support site and email then that you would like to recieve the " Nero CleanTool 7 " which will remove all traces of Nero , here below is where you can email nero support

In addition what snooker said you can also try out softwares like System Mechanic 5 PRO and some others to get rid of that program and all its registry keys... you can uninstall softwares even with no uninstaller.exe
