XP Went Blind to Win2k Server

I operate a 800 node network with a mix of Novell, Nt and Win2K servers. Roughly 200 machines are XP Pro, of these roughly 50 are serviced by a Win2K server. All of these machines have gone blind to their Win2K server or any other Nt or Win2k server on the lan. They do see all XP machines with file and printer sharing turned on. All machines have no problem with TCPIP Internet services. Any suggestions as to this wierd problem would be greatly appreciated...
