Problems

Is There any way possible to remove a Service pack from and integrated Disc ive heard its not possible

Also i need to extract the contents of a Norton Ghost Image File
not to the hard drive but just into a folder How would i do this?

If the service pack was packaged by Microsoft, or by them for a computer manufacturer it is not going to work out for you trying to remove it. I am not saying it could not be done, someone, with way to much time on their hands might do it for bragging rights. If the disk was slipstreamed by someone that started with the orriginal release of XP it can be removed.
If you have a full copy of Norton (Symantec) Ghost it should have a feature called Ghost Explorer, if you dont a web search should find a download site that will let you get a copy and it will let you add/remove files from a ghost image.
