system restore

system restore does not work. it is turned on but it just does not work. i open system restore. i chose "restore my computer to an earlier state". then i click next which takes me to the "select a restore point" page which is what i do. then i click next which takes me to the "confirm restore point selection" page. then i click next but nothing happens.

But do you highlight a date to restore from? You have to pick a date to restore to for it to work.
