I am not 100% sure on this driver, it is for the ESS Alegro from HP, but the serial numbers from the report lead to a notebook model.

Look over the tower and see if a label of any sort, post, it ay give the model, try this driver, but it may not work

This is link to your HP drivers, audio is Soundmax, but network has quite a long list, you would need to know which ethernet you have installed
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=1093

this programe should list it Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...-Edition.shtml

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Missing Drivers

Hi,

I recently had to restore my hard drive using Symantec software. This is a note made by the program:

"The following devices do not have drivers in the Symantec Recovery Disk.

SCSI/RAID Host Controller

A detailed information about these devices is given below

Class : SCSIAdapter

Class Guid : {4D36E97B-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Description : SCSI/RAID Host Controller

Hardware Id : ACPI\PNPA000

Hardware Id : *PNPA000

Compatible Id : GEN_SCSIADAPTER"

In my device manager for my multimedia audio contoller under properties is this message: "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)". I've tried to let windows find the drivers automatically but it couldn't. BTW, my audio works fine so should I just leave it alone?

Also, I'm missing drivers for the SCSI/RAID Host Controller: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". Does it matter?

Thanking you in advance,
Dan

Get Belarc, copy and paste the report, omit the Software section, it gives Product Codes for your OS and the Windows Critical Updates
