It still doesn't work, I think I'll just by a sound card just to avoid the headache

Check this out to see if realtek is default audio, you sometimes have to select it

Check Control Panel/ Sound & Audio Devices/ Audio tab/ Sound Playback click on
down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be something “modem line 0 playback” has been substituted for the correct audio device.

Hi,
I have the same problem, windows does not detect any sound cards and when i try to play an audio track it says that it has detected a problem with my audio configuration and that audio/video playback may not operate properly. I've tried to update my driver but it obviously hasn't worked. Can u pls help me and tell me which audio driver i need.
