Found the board, your Lan driver is here http://www.pcchipsusa.com/PCCWebSite...uID=39&LanID=0

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

check this out

Check Control Panel/ Sound & Audio Devices/ Audio tab/ Sound Playback click on
down arrow and check that the correct audio is selected. Typically the problem will be something “modem line 0 playback” has been substituted for the correct audio device.

try installing the driver this way, make a note of where the unzipped files are from the driver you downloaded

1. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers"
2. Right-click the the yellow flagged device ( or audio device Realtek, Soundmax C-Media etc ) and choose Update Driver
3. In Windows XP SP2, the Update Wizard will prompt to connect to the Windows Update
4. Select "No, not this time" and click Next
5. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click Next.
6. Select "Search for the best driver in theses locations" and check "Include this location in the search"
7. Click Browse and select the location of downloaded driver
8. Click OK and click Next
9. Wait while the Wizard installs the software
10. Click Finish.

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Install the chipset ( AGP ) driver - then restart your comp, install audio driver again
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.as...9Dual-SATA2&s=

Your audio plugs must be on the I/O plate for this driver to work, if you use an expansion slot then you have a Sound Card installed, see here, click the image to focus

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Now then bookworm, your expertise came to my knowledge through google, and yes, I too am having this problem after having to re-install windows!!!! I've done the thingy, which I will paste below. Also, if you could help, I don't have drivers for graphics/video and have lost the ones for my Belkin wireless thingy and am having to use a rather rubbish stick thing that really slows my connection down!

Please keep instructions basic, I'm an absolute novice really!

Cheers

2 videos Ati and nVidia could be installed, Everest will show them so

Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section

Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right click mouse - select Copy.

Nothing at gateway, but Intel have drivers for your board http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filt...4&submit=Go%21

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions
