All kinds of problems

Hi, my dads hard drive failed and he has bought another and reinstalled windows, however he has been unable to connect to the internet ever since the hard drive failure. i think that the problem is missing drivers, and there are three it seems, listed in device manager under other devices. Those are Multimedia audio contoller, PCI simple communications controller and video contoller (VGA compatible) these three all have yellow question marks next to them. Can anyone help please?
