Hi There,

I am having a problem with a PC I've bought, I believe it's a custom PC. There appears to be no sound and the device manager says there is no driver installed for either the "Multimedia Audio Controller" or the RAID Controller. Any help on either would be appreciated. Belarc scan below:-- Thanks loads in advance:-

I'm not sure about Raid drivers I don't have them installed on my system, although they are flagged, told to leave them by my Techi, it has something to do with the kind of Hard Drive you have installed, but yours may be different

IBM Thinkpad T22
Sound was working fine when I had W2000. I upgraded to XP and it went silent. The built-in speakers, no sound. Headphones, no sound. I verified the basics. Found that device manager shows a yellow question mark next to "Multimedia Audio Controller"

I have been to the Lenovo site for downloads specific for the T22 model. Nothing for audio. It simply says that it should be included with the XP operating system.

I will be very grateful for any tips.
