However I'm not sure what information you need from me to help me. See my computer was built special. It's a clone... kinda has a bunch of parts from here and there. so just let me know what I should send you and I will... I did get the Belarc program so that should help.

Is this the board, as you can see 2 versions of the driver, it's ADI try installing this way using the If No Setup File method
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/suppor...D=en-us0000004

Installing Drivers

Create a folder for what you are downloading

Example: Audio
Then download the zipped file to that folder

Then download and install Winzip
Go to the folder and right click and click Winzip extract to here

That will automatically make a folder and unzip files to it ( make a note of file path)

Then go to folder and click on Setup file and follow instructions displayed for installation

If no Setup file

1. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers"
2. Right-click the the yellow flagged device ( or audio device Realtek, Soundmax C-Media etc ) and choose Update Driver
3. In Windows XP SP2, the Update Wizard will prompt to connect to the Windows Update
4. Select "No, not this time" and click Next
5. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click Next.
6. Select "Search for the best driver in theses locations" and check "Include this location in the search"
7. Click Browse and select the location of downloaded driver
8. Click OK and click Next
9. Wait while the Wizard installs the software
10. Click Finish.

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

Im running Windows XP home
I have a ASRock Motherboard with a AMD Sempron 64-Bit Processor 3300+

The error message given is:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
And when i click reinstall driver it says that it cannot find the available driver.

If anyone wants anymore information i can give it if you tell me how to get it
Try going to the website that made the sound card and find the driver there. You should be able to install it from there.
Good luck
