Help!! windows XP sound problem

Hi my name is David and im 15 yrs old. I recently formatted my computer. Evrything works fine except my speakers. I went to control panel/sounds and audio devices and everything is grayed out and it says No audio Device. Unsure what to do I looked at this website and found several problems relating to mine. After reading up a bit I think my problem is I need to download drivers for my sound card. I have NO CDS OR MANUAL to accomponie my speakers. I went to this website:

After going there I realized I do not know the company make of my speakers. All I know is that on them there is a logo that says : CA. I do not know what this means nor do I know what these letters can stand for. My speakers have always worked before I formatted my computer. But now whenever I try to play a song I get no sound. Anyone have any Ideas? Please HELP!!!

Try to get the system drivers from the computer manufacturers [or motherbard mftrs]. You can use Belarc Advisor or System Spec to find out who they are.
