Angry Continous Crashes

I am running on a Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and my computer has been crashing alot lately..this time during games and while browsing(it crashed while i was writing this so heres my second try lol).

Heres the error: IO_ERR_CONTROLLER_ERROR
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\D. Event ID: 11

Explanation
This problem is typically caused by a failing cable that connects the drive to the computer.

User Action
Replace the cable. ( What Cable ) - Ahh froze again but unfroze

Cause
Possible causes include:

A hardware failure that prevents communication with a disk (for example, a loose cable, a loose disk controller card, or a cable failure).

What can I do to fix this????
