weird arabic/english mixture

hello anyone....

recently, i had to reinstall my windows pro xp from the i386 file because i don't have a cd for this file (the downer of not getting the oem disk from dell, right).

anyway, following this reinstallation, i have noticed that there are some areas that are in arabic. this is not throughout. my security center is completely in arabic. i have a wireless connection to the internet. in the dialog bubble that comes up, i get some arabic in front of the ":connected."

there are particular tabs in the my computer properties (the one to the right of computer name and the one to the right of automatic updates) that are in arabic (along with all the information on the tab) when i right click on the my computer icon.

i would say that 95% of the computer remains in english, but this 5% (though not completely bothersome) is starting to become a hassle. if i try to download a file from the internet, the download dialog box comes up completely in arabic and the option boxes do not seem to work in the same order they would (in other words, the primary highlighted box is usually the one that refers to cancel).

any help anyone can give as to how i can remedy this will be most gratefully appreciated.

i have tried to use MUI to change it all to english and french -- languages i speak, but the arabic remains prevelant in the areas they currently occupy now....

cheers!

attached are two images to help gives some clarity:

as long as you have a valid XP key you can get an english copy of XP and use your valid key to install make sure its the same version tho

then burn a copy and write your key number on it for future reference

you can get the drivers you need from Dell

You got infected... wow... I have seen that more than once... you better format and start from scratch cos' not even re-installing Windows will fix that issue... So you better wipe out your hard Drive and start from ZERO again... Good Luck
