Help
Ok heres the deal.
Microsoft is stupid. I have their SDK or anotherwords Speech Recognition software which comes with a shitload of other things like text to speech and what not. I had this for a SR program but I do not have that anymore. One day i was chatting with my buds thru TS2 (A voice prog) and all of a suden my mic crapped out. It turns out I need a new SR engine for this software. Beleive me I have tryed to bypass the sdk crap, and/or uninstall it but to no avail. It cannot be removed. The exact error message at the base of all my problems is: "The necissary task could not be carried out because the nessisary engine could not be created. Please select a different engine and/or audio device." Beleive me mny audio card is fine, I diaged that thing to hell. The engine it uses is either a sample engine or the microsoft 5.1 sdk engine, and they both gimme the same error. So these engines aparently catch all incoming audio input which screws me royally. I have tryed EVERYTHING PLEASE HELP ME!!! and yes I looked in microsofts d-base and they have nothing to help except to instal it again, which ive done. sigh....
