Simple Problem I hope

Hello friends,

While I was on vacation from work, someone used my computer (I hate when that happens), and now, everytime a new window opens, its this very small box. I originally had it set to open any other window in full screen. Might there be a simple way to get this back to opening full screen as before?

Thank you friends!

Hello Morriah,

You should be able to get it back the way it was by closing the window when it is maximized. In other words, maximize the window and close it afterwards. The window should be from now on maximized when you open it. You have to do this for each application you wish to have the window maximized automatically when it is opened. I don't think there is a global way to do this unless using a third party software.

Thank you Raz!!!

I tried it, and it work, or so I thought, but then when i tried to re-open it, it still went to the small box. I tried to maximize it, then close it like you said, but it did not work. Darn, so close, and yet so far away.

Have you tried holding down "shift" at the bottom left of your keyboard? Hold it down, maximize, close the window. See what happens when you re-open.
