I have encountered a problem with the startup of my XP pro PC
When I boot up my PC I get through the log in screen, but my desktop never loads up. I get my background picture, but no icons or programs load up. After a couple of seconds my registry editor pops up. The registry editor seems to be the only thing that loads up on my PC.
However, I can access all of my programs through task manager, by creating a new task. But that is the only way i am able to do anything on my PC.
I thought maybe it was spyware or adware, you know some sort of attack. But, I am not able to find anything.
Any suggestions?
