removing registry scan tools

O-K I'll admit it I should have not installed those pesky registry scan tools, the ones that say they clean your registry, claim that you have over 100 problems but when you go to remove them you need to give them your hard earn bucks. How can I completely remove these tools without purchasing them?

No way! You mean it asks you to pay first before you can actually uninstall it That's not right... unless you did not read the fine print. Can you tell us the name of these pesky registry scan tools?

I just read quickly the license agreement for installing Registry Mechanic, and here is something I read that contradicts with what you are reporting here:
"If you are downloading a free trial version of the Software, you may use it on one or more computers for an unlimited period of time. However, you are not entitled to receive technical support nor the full functionality that comes with the Software until a licence fee has been paid."

Anyway, this does not resolve your problem. You may want to address this to these companies' tech support or you can manually remove them if you are very comfortable to delete things from the registry.
