I just restored my computer and before I restored it I was able to logon to websites that had a popup logon box by clicking a link like this in EXCEL or WORD. http://user: password@www.somesite.com. I know that this isn't supported anymore but I found a patch somewhere that removed this a while ago that allowed this type of logon. I don't want a program that saves passwords rather a fix for internet explorer that allows this. Does anyone know where this is or have it?
Hi ... I don't know whether this is what you want but it worth looking at , go to the following in internet explorer >>> tools >>> internet options >>> Content tab>> Auto complete , place check marks on all 4 boxes , click ok or apply whichever
