Hiya everyone
Firstly, thanks for reading this in advance and if you can offer any help it would be incredibly appreciated.
I'm a complete novice when it comes to drivers etc. and have been lucky enough to not have any hardware related problems that weren't easy to fix.
Recently, i've installed a WiFi Phillips SNU5600 USB2.0 WLAN thing to my PC to access a wireless home network.
My PC prior to this worked fine. And it still does with an Ethernet connection. However, upon installation of the WiFi hardware, my PC crashes sporadically - anywhere from within 10 seconds of boot up till 1 hour.
There is no error message - the whole screen simply freezes!
I'm almost 100% certain its the WiFi as it doesn't happen when it is unplugged. I've tried to see if there's a clash in Device Manager but, put simply, I don't know what to look for!!!
So... sorry to bother you all but i'm at my wits end; the straw that broke the camels back was it happening at the 99% mark of an important download.
Please help! I'll post any information you need if you direct me to where it can be found.
Cheers in advance,
Lee
