Remove password issue

Hi,

I had to delete a password from a user account but when the user put it back on to use, all the emoticons, winks and backgrounds(downloaded over 3 years) from MSN messenger were lost as if reset. Could anyone please help me on how to recover these items if possible. Your help will be mostly appreciated. Thanks.

Only thing I can think of doing is a system restore.

Let me re-define your question. Did you ONLY delete the password or reset it to something else and then decided to change it to the original one OR did you delete the user and then recreated a new user with the same credentials as the the one you deleted earlier ??? because there is a big difference between the two.
