Quicktime to Mpeg????

I desparatly need something to convert quicktime to mpeg.
I have a digi cam that will record movies in quicktime only!
When I want to use Windows movie maker it will not import the file.
Please direct me to somewhere I can download at least a trial program as I have had NO luck looking on my own.
