Unhappy Windows is running very long

Help me

I have Windows XP HOME
just 2 days ago I run my pc, and when I saw bluescreen with "Running system Windows" computer stopped!!! I was waiting for a while (1-2 minutes) and he went to Users accounts.
My system is very non-stabile, It does everything very slow... I wanted to restore system, but when I clicked at "System restore" in applications there was a error like that:

rstrui.exe
File not found: Procedure entries: RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore in WINSTA.dll library
I clicked and after that nothing...
this problem is still now !!!

when I want to see my system properties (right click on My Computer and properties) Win shows error:

rundll32.exe - Entry point not founded
File not found: Procedure entries: RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore in WINSTA.dll library

but it runs (oofff)...

I don't know what to do...
I've tried to reinstall (update, not full reinstall) but this doesn't work. I don't want to reinstall all system after format C:, cause I hate installing again and again same programs...
and all settings will be default ((

HELP ME PLEASE

Is it any way to reinstall System Restore function ???
please help here, or e-mail me at
BoneBreakeR@netbox.pl

THANK YOU A LOT
BonE

Try in run command "sfc /scannow" without the quotes and have your CD in the drive. It may work to restore your missing or corrupted files

<edit> If you will reformat partition your drive thus 5 to 10 GB for XP(I have 10) and the rest as youlike. Load your apps and install to your D drive.

Take an image when you like your setup on CD-RW. Here's a good tutorial on how to do it.
