manifest parse error during xp clean install

I keep getting a Manifest Parse error during a clean install of xp pro then setup aborts and reboots then it repeats again. Has anyone seen this or have any advice.

Thanks for the link to the info. I will do as suggested and try another cd, I refuse to call microsoft. I figure it may be some copy protection but i'm not sure.
