Unhappy Plz Help I Got Bugs (errors)

HI
i got big problem ....
My computer is an: amd 1100+; 256 mb sdram; 64 geForce 2 video card ... and i got an Thomson SpeedTouch 330 modem connected via usb
Also WindowsXP sp2.
My problem is like this ...
After i connect to the internet (with my Connect to my ISP) i get the error: Generic Host Process for Win 32 services ...etc has encounted a problem and needs to close .
If i go 'Dont Send' my connection to internet freezez and i cant reconnect unless i reboot; as "My Isp" in sysray shows that i am connected, and i cant disconnect either.

The thing is that if i dont press "dont send" on this error my net connection doesnt crash ... but after some time the same error shows up and .. there goes the internet ..

After this error another error occurs:
svchost.exe - Application error
The exception Unkown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0x5b86a3c0.

This Svchost error doesn't affact my internet connection unless i press ok or cancel.

I coud bet that all this errors occur due to my speedtouch Modem.
But i dont know how to fix them ...can u pple help me ?

I would appreciate any suggestions.

P.S. Right now im writing this message with my internet connection down and im gonna copy/paste this on a txt .. then reboot.. then send ..

P.S.2 Sorry if my english is bad.

Do you have quality AntiVirus and Firewall programs installed, properly configured and up-to-date?

Apply the following patch, for starters: -

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-040 - Vulnerability in Server Service Could Allow Remote Code Execution (921883)

Also, as you have Internet access, to a degree, dl, install and run CCleaner. Do NOT use the Issues section.

Then dl, install, update and run the following. They both have a free 30 day full feature trial and then revert to free, limited feature versions that are still good: -

AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5

and

a-squared Anti-Malware 2.1

Save the scan results, as you may need then at a later date.

Also run the following: -

Panda ActiveScan

NOTE: If the scans find any infections, you must disable System Restore, prior to purging your system, as follows: -
