C drive changed to F drive

I'm not sure how I did this, but I formatted my C drive and did a clean install on my Dell PowerEdge400SC.

After everything was done the floppy drive was named C:\ drive and the main hardrive is remaned F:\ drive.

After searing the interned I found I needed to go to My Computer...manage and change drive letters from there.

I did get the floppy drive changed from C:\ to A:\ but do not know how to change the harddrive back to C:\

Any suggestions?

Hey ... If F is your root drive ? You wouldn't be able to change it , You are going to need to reformat and delete the F root drive , recreate the Root drive and make it C , Though you can give it a try if that not the case , When I say delete I don't mean in the disk management area , I mean when you reformat your hard drive and reinstall windows , In the disk management area do not delete the F drive

Click Start, point to Run, type diskmgmt.msc, and then click OK
