If you or previous owner added a soundcard to the original setup, you need to get drivers for that soundcard from the card makers website.
If, however, the system originally had an integrated 'on board' sound controller which is still working and enabled in the BIOS, then you need to identify and get drivers for that instead.
Doubtless you don't have any of that information, so I suggest you download a free utility called "Unknown Device Identifier" from here:

No need to install it. Just run the downloaded file and it will generate a complete hardware list from which you can identify the make and model of your sound controller. I believe it will also provide a weblink direct to a source of driver software for it.
The make/model of the speakers is irrelevant as regards getting the correct sound drivers.
