C:\ folder customization

if you right click on a folder there is a customize tab where you can choose a folder type from a template, somehow my C drive (when i double click on C:\) has decided to be turned into a video template, how do i get rid of this? there is no customize tab in C because it is a hard disk

like if i nagivate to c:\ (i see folders like documents and setttings, windows, that place) it has a faint movie icon in the bottom right corner (meaning that it is under the video template) but i dont know how to get rid of it cuz in my computer if i right click on C:\ it gives me diff options

to clarify, in your picture, the template is for "documents (for any file type)" somehow my C drive got changed into video instead of documents - this becomes apparent when you change to view by detailed and instead of having the friendly Name - Size - Modification date i get Name - Size - Video Dimensions - Bitrate

Same problem as inoesomestuff,
He talking about how the folder sets up the files inside not the folder icon iteself, in the screenshot above it's the "Use this folder type as a template" option. The problem we have is somehow the root decided to become a music folder, and when you go to properties there is no customize tab to change it back.

But how did it change in the first place then, anyway it's a little annoying and if anyone knows to get it fixed back to regular "documents" mode, I searched and didn't find anything.

In the bottom right of the folder it has a little watermark of a music note and the left panel has play music options, but there's no music files in my C:\ Drive...

Custom folders are done in MY Computer, like my picture show a movie camera.I wanted it and kept it.It also has restore defaults.
But the music note IS unusuall, but this topic is about custom folder icons,
I think.
BTW you C: drive is very low on free space.XP and most Windows require
15 % minimum to operate best.

The problem is with the root of the drive, it's not a folder it IS the C: drive.

And I think you mistook the original topic, look where he said

In your screenshot, it's the very top option, NOT about the icon of the folder or the pictures, but the "what kind of folder do you want" option.

In my case, the C: drive itself has been set to be a template like the music folder and I want to change it back to "documents (for any file type)" as seen in your picture, but I do not have that tab, because the "C: drive" is not a folder.

I hope that is clear enough, and now the question is how I can change the template of a drive back to the default?

(And I know it's almost full, )

LOL, it's hosted on a free website (I did not want to hot-link the picture), the actual picture itself is :

Anyway, thanks for trying but it looks like there's no easy solution, I just found this thread using google, couldn't find a real answer though.
Oh well, it's not a big deal.
