Can't change desktop icon text anymore

Just installed Windowblinds 4, and now my desktop icon text stays white and I usually had it black.

I used to change it through the display properties -> appearance -> advanced -> other advanced -> and change the desktop color to white so my text would be black. Now that has no effect.

In the Windowblinds settings, 'apply the skins colour scheme' and 'apply any wallpaper supplied' is checked off.

Would really appreciate any help.

Edit

Before I was using Windowblinds 3.4.

I'm on an AMD 750mhz w/ XP Pro.
