now theres a second problem, the usb hubs, the back ones work fine, the front 2 do not work what so ever, doesnt even seem to be giving off power, for example when u cannot an ipod, it doesnt charge. nothing happens.

Have you double-checked all settings in Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices?

As to the USB problem, what do you see when you go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> USB Serial Bus Controllers. (?)

No doubt Barbara will see this post eventually and help you sort it out.

All settings are correct in the sounds and audio devices however the nVidia WDM Video Capture (universal) the device says "Cannot Start" in the device manager.

As for the USB :Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
:Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller
:USB Root Hub
:USB Root Hub
There is no error showing for the controller.

Any ideas

If it's a new computer why dont you just bring it back to the place of purchace? Why are you racking your brains out trying to fix this problem? Could be just a defective computer. You might be making things worse for yourself when you finally try and return it. Just my opinon.
