log out problem!

lately, when i turn my computer on, it doesn't go right into my destop, it goes to the beginning screen, where it tells u to log in and how many email messenges u have. I do not want this to happen. how do i fix this? and whats causing this?

Did you put a password on or make a new user account?

nope, the only thing i did was use windows update for windows messenger 4.7 and something Framework.net thats 20mb!
