Broadband

Did you know?
The current BT voyager drivers ARE NOT compatable with windows XP!
Thats right. theres a conflict with WIN Messenger. ON some systems you just cant connect. ON others the system locks when you try to shut down. And there are various other buggs that British telecom Know about. (But wont do anything about).

My advice to everybody. DONT BOTHER WITH BROADBAND AT ALL IF YOUR THINKING OF IT DONT. NOT AT LEAST UNTIL SOMEONE HAS SORTED OUT A DECENT RELIABLE SERVICE. ITS TIME TO BOYCOT THESE GREEDY COMPANY'S WHO SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO SOMETHING AND DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. i TOOK OUT BT BROADBAND FOR A MONTH AND HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE BT ARENT THE ONLY ONES EITHER FROM WHAT I CAN GATHER. THEY ARE ALL TRYING TO SCREW ONE ANOTHER AND US THE PUBLIC AT THE SAME TIME. SOMETHING HAS GOT TO BE DONE. IS IT TO MUCH TO ASK FOR A DECENT SERVICE FOR THE PRICE WE PAY. AT AROUND £28 A MONTH YOU CAN GET ALL THE SKY CHANNELS AND YOU GET A GOOD QUALITY PICTURE.
IF THE PICTURE WAS ALL FUZZY WOULD YOU PAY IT???
NO I DIDNT THINK SO...
SO WHY ARE WE GIVING OUR MONEY TO THESE COMPANIES FOR A SUBSTANDARD SERVICE.
ITS TIME PEOPLE STOOD UP TO THESE FAT CATS AND CASTRATED THEM. BOYCOT BROADBAND BOYCOT BROADBAND BOYCOT BROADBAND.
THAT SHOULD BE THE WARCRY.
ALL WE WANT IS THE SERVICE WE SHOULD BE GETTING FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. SO ALL YOU BROADBAND COMPANIES IF YOU ARE LISTENING.... YOUD BETTER START LISTENING OR SCOTTISH POWER WILL BE TAKING ALL YOUR BUISNESS WITH THEIR 2BIT SERVICE OVER THE POWER CABLES.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Don't know about BT as our local exchange isn't ADSL enabled, but our NTLworld service seems pretty good, installation was a dream, reliabilty is good......and the 'HelpLine' is actually helpful. Of course I might just be the lucky one..........
