Blue Screen- Freeze Up

Hello. I am having problems with Windows XP, this problem happens persistantly, mainly during heavy operations while loading data. It is not only me who keeps encountering this problem, but other account members also suffer from this problem, so i believe this to be a conflict of not only my account settings but something which has been installed which effects all accounts. The problem i recieve is a blue screen. It tells me that there is probably a driver error and that i should check all drivers, especially ones which were recently installed. I checked through active drivers which were installed and operative, and i soon came across an aztech modem driver. I de-activated this, and for the remaining week, i received no errors. Suddenly, when i logged on one afternoon, the blue screen appeared. I cannot give the specific error message because there are a variety which constantly appear, but i am in the process of recording them. I have sent off several error reports to microsoft, however, i had sent that two months ago and i wish for this problem to halt. One option would be to completely format the pc, and start fresh, but myself and others who use it have a vast amount of data. At the moment, i am constantly monitoring the computer for any changes, and i shall remove any drivers which may effect the computer. I wish to know if anyone has had a similar problem to this and if there is any resolution or at least, some information which will help me to overcome this error. I would also like to know additional information (if any) regarding the failure of drivers which have been attempted to operate on Windows XP. I shall update this thread with information as i attempt to fix this error.
