Sounds Logging Off and ON

I have a Dimension 4100 with XP Home Edition. I don't know what I did, but all of a sudden, when I logon and shutdown, I no longer hear the XP music anymore. I am the administrator on this computer and have already checked out the sounds and audio section in control panel. Everything there looks normal, and when I test the sounds, they work. What is strange is that if I sign in as a guest on my computer, the music is there at logon and logoff. It's not a big deal, but is there some other settings that I can check to see why this is happening? Also, I have sounds for everything else. Any thoughts?
