Registry problem >>!!!

i have a win xp os ,
recently i was installing a game called triple play ..the installation was almost complete suddenly the power was cut...but some of the files were installed on my computer ...i wanted to unistall it and do a fresh installation .. so i went into add/remove program and clicker uninstall.. i got some error as some file was missing .. so deleted every file in the hard disk and deleted the entries named TRIPLE PLAY in registry editor .. it has gone from add/remove programs .. also..
now when i install it again from a cd i get a message ,
Registry appears to be corrupted. Can't continue (SetKey-Folder)
in the background it has Unistall Triple Play although i selected the installtion setup folder...>!!!!

What do i do !!!!!

see if you can get "System Restore" to run. That will allow you to return to a time when the registry was ok. Start->All programs->Accessories->System Tools->System restore.
Choose a date/time before you tried to install triple play.
If that works, I would not try to install triple play again. It was that which corrupted the registry and will only do so again.

i did a system restore to a earlier date then again i tried to install triple play i got the same message .>!!!!
If again i do a system restore how do i come to know wheather my registry is curropted or its working fine..!!!!
u told me intalling triple play has caused this ...so i can't play the game at all..........!!!!!
