Im having a strange problem with my internet. Last night it was working fine, I loged of the computer and went to bed. But when i woke up i got a message network cable is unplugged, I thought it must of came out somehow but after checking it is plugged in. After messing with it and not getting it able to work i went on my moms labtop and it was working fine. I then tryd to put the ethernet cable from my modem right to my computer skiping the routher and nouthing. No matter what i try i cant get rid of the red xand the message a network cable is unplugged, but my moms computer is working like normal. PLZ help

Network card (into which you plug the ethernet cable) may have failed, in which case a new network card will fix it. You might first want to try a new ethernet cable instead, as they can sometimes be temperamental, although it's rare -- more likely the network card and they aren't expensive.
