Wireless Networking Problem
I just got an HP laptop and am trying to connect to my home network. I am getting the following errror msg: "Wireless connection failed because the network denied the association request from this computer". I've googled this but can not seem to find anything. I can connect using my laptop to a neighbors unsecured connection with no problems. My home network is WEP encrypted and I am running XP with Windows Firewall and Norton Antivirus on my home computer. New laptop is running vista, but I don't think it's this since I can connect to my neighbors unsecured network with no issues.
Any thoughts, could it be Norton? The Windows Firewall? My encryption? I have the encryption key to log into the network, but still get that dang error msg.
Pls help!
