sound problemas pleae help!!!
hey guys im a new member here and you all seem to really know what your talking about so instead of calling customer support im going to you guys...ive reformatted my computer, ive got a compaq presario computer and the windows xp whent on my hard drive so i had to reformat. the only problem is that there is no sound comming out of my speakers. i whent into audio video devices and checked to see what was wrong but when i checked out the properties of the devices.....it said the the location of the audio codec etc....was unknown, the computer couldnt find it, though it clearely stated that everything worked perfectly there wasnt a volume control item for my desktop, and when i went to audio vidoe devices in vontrol pannel it said nothing was plugged in. i couldnt chanfge anything around either because nothing was plugged in, though, i clearely had my speakers plugged in. what wrong????? can you guys pleeease help me?
