i've got an old desk top upstairs that i had a new hard drive put into 2 days ago for my 4 year old to start playing games and whatever on, but after intalling windows xp back onto it i can't get any sound other than a few beeps from the tower,when i go into device manager thers a big yellow question mark by my sounds,also when i try to play a cd it says there's not sound card,i've had a look and it's sort of right,theres not!so i take it it's built into the mother board or something
it was working and playing sounds and cds fine before my old hard drive died on me
