Background problem

Hi, I have window xp pro and recently I had a virus. I took care of it but since I deleted it, I can't put any background. When I go with the normal way(right-click, properties, desktop), I can't even click on an image to put a background. The background box is like blocked. So I wander if anyone can help, I would appreciate.

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I'm having the same problem.

In Display Properties, go to the Desktop tab and click on the Customize Desktop button. Go to the Web tab and uncheck everything there. Click OK.

See if you can then change the background.
