hotfixes win xp cantvalidate /download?

hallo .just recently ,after checking my system i found i had many hotfixes not downloaded ,when i tried ,it put through to genuine validate and it said not valid?.so i cant download them ,any body help on a fix???? or how to do it ,im a newbie on pc's,also is there a way of downloading all except from one at a time

First, using Internet Explorer, run through the Microsoft Validation Diagnostic site.

If that all checks out, click the "Validate Now" button on this page. There are links to other possibly useful resources on that page as well.

If you do not have the microsoft wide windows validation tool, you will have to download it. Also a funny thing with validation... check your system time and make sure it is synchronized or you will not be able to validate windows. Double click your system clock in your system tray, make sure the date is correct, also update the time to as close to current time as possible, then go to Internet Time and then click synchronize.
